September 25th: Reiki for Women "Mini Sessions" at Blessed Baby Boutique, 155 Front Street Farmington. These abbreviated sessions will last twenty minutes each and cost $20.* Limited number of appointments available, please call Blessed Baby Boutique at 778-6700 to schedule.

*Sessions regularly last forty five minutes for $35, with additional half hours available at $25.

November 13th, 14th & 15th: Labor and Post-Partum Certification Course through CAPPA, Augusta Maine

November 19th: I will be giving a talk titled "Herbs in Pregnancy" 11am at The Blessed Baby Boutique and Mothers Center, 155 Front Street Farmington. The talk will be about the use of herbs in tonics and remedies during pregnancy, to be followed by a question and answer period.

Fundraising

The Friends of Maine Midwives
is group of individuals, families, professionals and businesses that support midwives providing the homebirth option to women in Maine. Please join us!

As you may know, the Maine Association of Certified Professional Midwives (MACPM) is promoting an Act to License Certified Professional Midwives. As these things do, it is requiring a substantial amount of legal fees. (to learn more, visit MACPM ) All throughout the state groups and individuals are organizing fundraisers to support MACPM. If you or your group would like to plan a fundraiser, please get in touch with your county's representative. My Barefoot Books fundraiser continues. When you place your order direct through me by order form, phone, or email and mention the fundraiser for the Maine Association of Certified Professional Midwives (MACPM),15% of all sales will towards defraying thier costs for all their legislative efforts, which include paying the lobbyist and publishing materials to help educate our legislators. Please help continue to raise funds so that midwives and families in Maine are guaranteed access to choices in childbirth.
